A municipal government recently signed an agreement with a special-purpose vehicle company to jointly build a rear-loading compactor garbage truck production base. The project has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and covers an area of ​​200 mu (approximately 33 acres). The base will have three intelligent production lines, focusing on the production of rear-loading compactor garbage trucks, kitchen waste trucks, and other sanitation equipment, with an expected annual production capacity of 1,000 units. The base will also include a sanitation equipment R&D center, collaborating with universities to develop new waste treatment technologies. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate over 3 billion yuan in annual revenue, create more than 800 jobs, reduce local sanitation equipment procurement costs, and promote the localization of the regional sanitation industry.
